Barney Shore is a former NASCAR driver from Lewisville, NC. He is also a radio announcer for Motor Racing Network. In his racing career, Shore competed in 19 Nextel Cup Series events, earning a solid record with five top-tens. His best career finish was a 5th at Bowman-Gray. Following the end of his racing career in 1960, Shore went into commentary. He is still a commentator today.
