Pelle a Zinj was the prince of Xhaxhu in The Rivers of Zadaa. He was known as Bobby Pendragon's best ally in his travels through Zadaa. Pelle was trying to end the conflict between the Batu and Rokador in belief that fighting was not good. He was assassinated by a Rokador rebel at the Festival of Azrah as he came down to speak with Bobby and Loor. The cause of his death was Saint Dane, who encouraged hatred between the two tribes.
