The Adirondack Thunder is a professional ice hockey team in the ECHL which will begin play for the 2015–16 season. Based in Glens Falls, New York and affiliated with the NHL's Calgary Flames, the Thunder will play their home games at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The Thunder will replace the AHL's Adirondack Flames, which will be relocated to Stockton, California to become the Stockton Heat.
