"Drat, and double drat!" (or just simply "Drat!") is Dick Dastardly's mock oath and exclamation to express failure, frustration or simple disgust, as used on Wacky Races and later spinoffs such as Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines. Sometimes, the expression will be used against Muttley out of jealous spite.
