Irene Courakos is a Canadian actress of Greek descent who portrayed Alexa Pappadopolos in Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High, and also in School's Out!. Irene is now believed to be an English teacher. She reprised her role in Degrassi: The Next Generation in a two-part episode, Mother and Child Reunion (2).
