The materials can be easily acquired in B3F of the Misty Ravine. Hollow Roamers drop the Lance Shard and the Dolomite can be mined from the area. Sell these to the shop to unlock the Ballock Knife and complete the quest. If you have already unlocked the Ballock Knife, you can turn in the quest immediately after talking to Wynne.
