The planet of Yril was often called "the breadbasket of the Confederacy". The name referred to the enormous fields present on Yril. Almost all food eaten in the Confederacy originated on Yril. Yril housed some 27 million people, mostly Fulleri. They all worked on the fields or in the spaceports. The planet had standard gravity, and average temperature was around 33 degrees Celsius. A Yrilian day lasted about 48 standard hours, while a Yrilian years lasted 360 standard days. The planet was ruled by Planetary Governor Michael Marcel, a Fulleri.
