The 1988 Japanese Grand Prix is the fifteenth round of the 1988 Formula One Season. The race was won by McLaren's Ayrton Senna, who eventually took his first World Drivers' title by finishing ahead of his team-mate Alain Prost. Benetton's Thierry Boutsen finished third.
