The Order of the Knights of the Lamp, commonly known as the Order of the Lamp or simply as the Lamp Knights, was a military order of knights which originally acted as protectors of the Mages Guild. The original Order of the Lamp was dissolved alongside the guild at the end of the Third Era, but it was revived on the 4th Era by Harrison Cyrodiil due to the threat of an also revived Order of the Black Worm. It was officially sanctioned by Emperor Titus Mede II as the "Order of the Knights of the Lamp" in a ceremony which also made Harry the Grand Master of the order.
