Joe Tamminen (born January 23, 1973 in Virginia, Minnesota) is a retired American centre. He played for the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs from 1991 to 1995. The Pittsburgh Penguins chose him 82nd overall in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Tamminen never played any pro hockey.
