The second battle against Cort (最凶獣コート, Sai Kyō Seru Kōto, lit. "Most Evil Seru Cort") is the final boss battle in Legend of Legaia. The Ra-Seru heroes find Cort sleeping while fused with the heart of Juggernaut inside the Bio Castle. After Noa wakes Cort from his slumber he states that he has become a mighty being that has transcended the Seru and shouts his intention of destroying all humans left on earth. Noa fails to convince him to turn back into a human and he shoots her away with an energy blast from his eyes. Soon after, he warps out of a portal in front of the heroes, transferring all of them to another dimension where he can kill them for good.
