The Outbound System, located on the Federation-Polaris border, is a trading post that is occasionally attacked by pirates. As such, the Nil'kemorya (the Polaran military caste) regularly send Mantas and Strikers to patrol the system and protect their near-defenseless Sprites and Cambrians. The system contains the planet Vrenna and the remains of one of the hypergates disabled in the chain reaction caused by the Armetis' destruction of the Sol System hypergate in 670 NC.
