Like Swordsmen, Spearmen are strong, healthy units with powerful melee attacks. Because their primary attack requires no PsP to use, they can protect psy-dependent units while they focus. What also marks the Spearmen as a versatile unit is their ability to use powerful ranged-attacks such as Spear Throw, thus giving them elements of both the Swordsman and the Bowman.
