Katina Hawksby is the daughter of legendary pilot Falco Lombardi. She was an officer in the Cornerian Military prior to the destruction of Lylat. At first, Falco didn't seem too thrilled with the idea of his daughter joining the military, hoping that she would instead become a mercenary like him. But Katina insisted on joining, stating that she would prefer the regularity of military work to the unpredictability of mercenary work. Katina attended the academy and recieved decent grades. She is an outstanding pilot, but always insists that she's nowhere near as good as her father.
