Daphne Dillworthy was a female hare, the mother of Dorothea Duckfontein Dillworthy, wife of Cramsy, and sister of Blench. She sent Dorothea away from home to Salamandastron to her sister Blench in exchange for pale cider and a shawl because Daphne thought Dorothea was bad-mannered. She sent with Dotti a letter describing her predicament and imploring help with her daughter and allowing any punishment upon her daughter aside from execution. Daphne was also a friend of Blossum Bunn.
