Mrs. Arlen and her son were in a car accident on a bridge. Jack pulled them from the burning wreckage and she was brought to St. Sebastian Hospital with a spinal injury. She underwent a successful surgery performed by Gary Nadler. When she woke up, she said that she had been distracted by a man trying to kill himself, and that caused her accident.
