Eristas was a desert planet. Early in humanity's expansion into the galaxy, Eritas was colonised by a group of Masai. The Masai embraced the planet, and on the vast plains, developed a society in which velocity gained an almost religious significance, reflected even in their names, for instance: Moves-With-Burning-Grace.
