The Science Institute of Bilana III was a scientific research institution on Bilana III. It had a sister facility on Lemma II. In 2368, the institute conducted the first test of the soliton wave. This test was monitored by Doctor Ja'Dar, one of the institute's staff members. (TNG: "New Ground" ) The name of this institution was from the video-audio subspace communication between this facility and the USS Enterprise-D.
