Kaczan is a small settlement in the vicinity of the fork Ina and Yaruga rivers, near the Klamat saddle. Peasants from the village joined forces with the residents of Klucz and Porog to fight the koshchey. The village is mentioned in the short story "Droga, z której się nie wraca" in Coś się kończy, coś się zaczyna (Something Ends, Something Begins).
