Rt Hon Chirisch Cavéir, born on 12th Mar 1974, was elected President in 2005. Cavéir handily won the Deanship in November 2004 in the Republic's first real election. He bested long-time rival and colleague Michael Pope, who was the sitting Dean at the time. Cavéir also defeated Mr Pope to become the Republic's first President and was inaugurated 1 June 2005, the first anniversary of our independence. As a citizen of the Kingdom of Talossa, Cavéir served honourably as Prime Minister from 1998 to 1999, before resigning. He was a member of the legendary Progressive Conservative Party.
