Lungs are the main organ, but its the Diaphram below the lungs that makes them work. Diaphram is a large flat looking muscle located below the lungs, that when it moves downward, it causes the lungs to expand with air, and when it moves upwards it causes the air to expel from your lungs by compressing them.
