Giovanna Amati (born July 20, 1962) is an Italian female racing driver, the last woman to have entered a World Championship race. She took part in the first three races of 1992 for Brabham-Judd, but didn't qualify for any of them, and was replaced by Damon Hill until the Hungarian Grand Prix when the team went bankrupt. Susie Wolff became the first female driver since Amati to appear at a Grand Prix weekend in 2014 when she took part in Free Practice sessions for the British and German Grands Prix for Williams-Mercedes.
