The Battle of Roon was a battle in the Bothan War in Bothan League space. General Ward Fin's invasion force, which had took Hypori a year ago, was finally on the move again and was now one step closer to capturing the Bothan capital Bothawui. The battle was brief in comparison to some of the war's other battles and the Core Systems Alliance took very few casualties. The next target for General Fin's forces was Kothlis, which bring them on the doorstep of Bothawui.
