Details: Felipe de Jesus Corona was the architect of the tunnel used by drug lord Raphael Camarena. Camarena used the tunnel to smuggle drugs from Mexico to the United States. In May of 1990, authorities discovered the tunnel but by that time, both Camarena and Corona vanished. They are both wanted for drug trafficking and smuggling. Extra Notes: The case was featured as a part of the April 24, 1991 episode. Results: Captured. Corona was arrested in Mexico in 2003, three years after Camarena was arrested. He was found guilty of drug trafficking and was sentenced to eighteen years in prison. Links:
