Frenzy was born in Helex before their infamous attack on Praxus. He was a member of their military, serving to carry out demolitions when needed. The only problem was that he reveled in the destruction he caused with his sonic powers. The final straw was when Frenzy decided to go against orders to stall his use his sonics until an evac team was out of range. He was swiftly discharged, and soon was approached by Decepticon communications officer Soundwave, who asked the bot to join their ranks. Grasping the opportunity to unleash his sonics once again, Frenzy accepted Soundwave's offer; much to the chargin of the other two Mini-Cons partnered with Soundwave, Laserbeak & Ravage.
