I feel that I am a trustworthy user, so I have self-nominated myself. (I believe that I am trustworthy since I don't break promises; and I realize that banning/kicking people is a serious offence and I will not do that.) Often, there are no chat moderators on-chat, or there are moderators who are away from chat. If I am on chat, I try to be active, so if I were a chat moderator, if somebody was abusing the rules severely, I could quickly sort out the situation.
