HMS Regal was an Illustrious-class light cruiser of the Royal Manticoran Navy. In 1881 PD, the ship was on anti-piracy duty in the Silesian Confederacy. It intercepted the Silesian heavy cruiser SCNS Versimov, which was in the process of raiding an Andermani freighter. A long battle followed, but the Regal was eventually able to destroy the enemy ship, taking more than half its crew prisoner. (JIR1)
