The EWE World X Championship is one of two lower-ranked championships in the EWE, along with the European Championship, often used as a starting championship for a wrestler's career. It was established by the EWE in 2005, and has been largely defended under the Overkill (formerly Thunder) brand. It is the youngest championship, established in early 2006.
