Project Safehouse is a government commission of the Federated States which was first drafted in 1975, and only put into motion in 1993, when the construction of the first Atom Shelters began. The Project was to protect the Federated States populace from the threat nuclear war, which grew ever bigger in the 90's. The project involves the construction of 154 large subterranean Atomic Fallout shelters across the country, including a single presidential shelter, namely Atom 0, directly under Austin, Texas. The project also ensues monthly safety drills, including the testing of attack warning sirens.
