The Magic Earrings Of Sonoria were a pair of earrings that appeared in the cartoon show episode "The Magic Earrings". They allow whoever wears them the ability to hear sounds from all over the world. In the episode, Gargamel bought one of the earrings as a present for his mother from the traveling salesman who appeared at his door, who gave him the earring for the price of one penny, which to him was a loss. Hogatha, his second customer, bought the second earring, realizing what it actually was, and found out from the salesman that he sold the first earring to Gargamel. Using a formula that altered her appearance to make herself look young and beautiful, Hogatha went to Gargamel's house to seduce him into giving her the other earring, which he kindly allowed her to have.
