Gorda the Hutt was a little-known gangster from Garrakis, a desert moon of Pertho. In 17 ABY, Darth Owak planned to hire Gorda's bounty hunters to assassinate Zak Starfighter. However, Zak arrived several hours before and payed Gorda twice as much to set up a trap for Owak. At first, everything went according to plan, and one of Gorda's men was able to kill all of Owak's accompanying stormtroopers. Owak, however, killed the assassin, along with Gorda and all his other men. He was intercepted by Zak just too late. Owak was able to escape on swoop, and Zak buried Gorda and all his men beside Gorda's palace.
