In 2376 Weyoun commanded a ship of this class when he rendezvoused with the USS Defiant in the Idran system to exchange his passengers of Jake Sisko, Opaka Sulan and company with a female Changeling the Defiant had rescued from an unnamed planet in the Gamma Quadrant.
