What is an Efile?. An equipment file is two files (equip97.exp, equip97.txt) in the panzer2 main directory that hold all the non-graphical data for units (such as stats, which icon they use etc.) Also, the gui97.txt holds the text of which countries is in the file and is usually tied to the equipment file download. There are multiple equipment files created by users out there - some are extensions of the SSI file, adding units and nations that did not exist before, others are for entirely different theaters or even time periods.
