Potions of education are rare and powerful potions which may either grant the PC a new skill or improve one of the skills the PC already possesses. Scrolls of education work in the same manner as these potions. The skill which is granted/improved is seemingly chosen randomly, although some testing indicates that several checks are made to decrease the possibility of selecting a skill which is already at level 100. If these checks fail, no new knowledge is gained. It is possible that the B/U/C status of the potions influences the number of extra checks for skill selection.
