It can be received as a gift (one must have a farming level 5 in order to gift a Set of 2 Shovels to a neighbour), bought from the market for 1 FarmVille Cash, harvested in various ways, found in a Special Delivery Box, or obtained when shared by other players via Facebook posts. It is used to dig and increase the total capacity of the Storage Cellar by 2 items up to a total of 500 items. 20 x Set of 2 Shovels are also required to build the Duck Pond.
