The 1983 Winston 50 was a Grand American Stock Car Series event held at Fairmont International Raceway on June 22, 1983. Midwesterner Dick Schlitz grabbed his only career series victory, holding off Tom Bartholomew. Dirt track star Roger Dolan was third with Gary Tigges and Scott Braun rounding out the top-five. Eventual season champ Mike Alexander was 15th.
