It is a massive company based on planet Toleer, a frigid and sunless world which is located roughly 13,000 light-years "south-southeast" of Earth in a starless void between two galactic spiral arms. Almost every ship in its multiple fleets has some form of weapon or defense system to protect itself from harm, and with thousands of vessels at its beck and call, and more than a hundred star systems under its protective wing, it can be said that Torec is a nation in its own right at times.
