Sootar Vache was an Ithorian captain in the Rebel Alliance who was thrown out due to a spice addiction. He spent a long time trying to find work as a bounty hunter. He failed as a bounty hunter as spice had afected his eyes causing him to see double. In his last attempt he was assigned by Dilto the Hutt to kill Sith lord Darth Batar. He failed to kill Batar, losing his right hand to a dark Jedi. He became his apprentice instead. He joined his ranks of dark Jedi. He always remained quite low in Batar's ranks because of his addiction. In the end the spice decayed some of his vital organs. However he was quickly preserved by Batar using the metods of the B'omarr monks. In his preserved state he was inable to fight or use his force powers, but Batar sustained him as somthing to torture.
