Game Gear Bats is an insert set in 2001 Topps Stars. This 21-card card set features game used bat chips from many of baseball’s rising stars. The cards were inserted in two differnt groups with Group A inserted at 1:216 packs and Group B at a rate of 1:1368 packs. The overall insert rate was 1:187 packs. Most of the players featured in this set went on to have very good major league careers but by far the biggest prospects in this group at the time failed to have an impact at the major league level. Scott Rolen and Lance Berkman are by far the biggest names in this set.
