The first uprising in Sangheilian history since before the founding of the Covenant, the Sangheili Civil War (sometimes referred to as the Destined Uprising), was a Civil War fought between the Sangheili Confederacy and a Rebel group known as The Destined Ones. The war was enacted because the Confederacy, desperate for soldiers, began to force civilians to join the military and began rationing the public so they could conserve food for the war effort. The rations were lethal, with any Sangheili not in the military starving or not strong enough to perform labour work (which 45% of all jobs on Sanghelios included since 2563).
