USS Authority is a roleplaying game set in the Bruin universe is open to all experienced and novice writers. The group began in 2004 (approximately 2385) and has written continuously since. It continues in real time (a year equals a year). The Authority was launched from the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in 2385. The USS Authority is a Nova class ship, recently commissioned with a cloaking device, one of the few in Starfleet, and was dispatched to the sector along the Romulan Neutral Zone and unexplored space. During the voyage along the borders of the Romulan Star Empire, the Authority has encountered several new alien races.
