William Huw Thomas appeared on Coronation Street in February 1999 as the Reverend Whittaker, who refused to marry Roy Cropper and Hayley Patterson once he found out that Hayley was transexual. His other credits include roles in Grange Hill, The Life and Times of David Lloyd George, The Citadel, The District Nurse, Doctor Who, Fun at the Funeral Parlour, Pobol y Cwm, Midsomer Murders, Gavin & Stacey, Torchwood and Alys, along with films including Casey's Shadow, Darklands, Twin Town, Freebird, Mr. Nice and Y Syrcas.
