The Crest of Light is an ancient artifact developed to evolve Kari's Tailmon to higher levels. It also has the ability to sense and produce light repeling the darkness, as shown when DemiDevimon tried to grab it and got harmed. In addiction, it also allows the energy transfer to other Digimon and its owner can act as a host for disembodied light spirits. It was sacrified during the Season 1-2 timeskip along the other crests in order to restore the Digital World.
