Technomatics had a reputation for being the best construction robots ever invented. Their ability to function in the airless vacuums of space made them essential to the construction of such projects as Space Station Alpha. Although each had its own personality and was capable of working independently, they were variants of specific designs and were frequently assigned a human mate with which to work.
