Kings' Peak - Avalanche is an action novel written in 2008 by Matt Richards. It tells the story of the fictional village and ski resort of King Abby, a town built in a "safe place" at the summit of Kings' Peak. However, the fact that it was built in a safe place isn't true, as a massive avalanche tears down the town and kills almost all the people living in it. A divorced man must find and rescue his estranged daughter and her husband, who are trapped in an elevator when the building they were in collapsed from the weight of the snow.
