The Notorious B.I.G. (born Christopher George Latore Wallace 1972–1997) was an American rapper also known as Biggie Smalls. MTV ranked him at #3 on their list of The Greatest MCs (Rappers) of All Time, and his career was cut short in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in 1997.
