The Ice Plains Spikes Biome is a rarer version of the Tundra Biome, released in the 1.7 update. Its most distinguishing feature is the massive spikes of Packed Ice (called Ice Spikes), most small but some enormous, that dot the landscape. These can be handy for sky bases. The other feature is that it features actual snow blocks that do not otherwise appear in nature.
