Genesis, also known as Lady Genesis, Empress of All That Lives or simply Lady Genesis, is the leader of Team Vita and the main antagonist in Pokémon Alpha Version. She seeks the power of the legendary New Beginnings Pokémon, Ozoridrey, so that she may live forever using its powers over life itself. Three years later, in Pokémon Infinity Version, Genesis becomes an administrator of Team Chaos alongside her former rival, Finis, the leader of Team Mortis.
