Morticia is sad that Wednesday and Pugsley prefer to spend their time with friends or other relatives over her. She volunteers at their school until it creeps out the teachers enough for Principal Macnamara to let her go. Principal Macnamara asks her to organize a scavenger hunt when the teacher in charge of it gets sick. Normina Normanmeyer tries to sabotage the hunt to prove The Addams Family Mansion is unfit for children, and ban Morticia from further school activities. She uses Uncle Fester's Plant Growth Formula on a thorny vine, making it grow and attack everyone. This only makes Morticia more beloved by the children.
