Lant Mining Corporation was the manufacturer of the Mobile Mining Barge I. It was the dominant economic force of Brak sector, having been chartered by the Republic to develop the entire sector's resources. During the Galactic Civil War, LMC fell on hard times as Brak sector's mines began to play out. LMC was headquartered in the Demar system. LMC had contracts with several notable companies, including Sienar Fleet Systems, Incom Corporation, Kuat Drive Yards, Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc., and Ikas-Adno. Hauler 10 was an ore hauler used by the company.
